Svetilovichi is a village, which had been several times decontaminated. However, some of the surrounding areas still show high contamination levels. The village Svetalovichi maintains their social live, they have a community center and a Kindergarten and have established methods on how to live with the contamination levels present. They monitor for example the dose rate of their food. The film shows the celebration of „Kupalya“ . „Desyatukha“ and „Kupalya“ sometimes fall on the same day but they are different festivities. „Kupalya“ is an ancient fest and relates to the elements fire and water.
